History of UFC or Ultimate Fighting Championship

UFC or Ultimate Fighting Championship, is the world's chief Mixed Martial Arts association. UFC was initially imagined as a progression of no-principles "style versus style" battles, with the objective of advancing the Gracie Jiu-Jitsu style of battle. Warriors from various foundations would be coordinated against each other, so you'd see karate veterans against grapplers, road contenders against novice wrestlers, and other such weirdo match-ups.

What are the UFC Weight Divisions?
The following are the different weight divisions that UFC currently has:
  1. Lightweight – 146 to 155 lbs.
  2. Welterweight – 156 to 170 lbs.
  3. Middleweight – 171 to 185 lbs.
  4. Light Heavyweight – 186 to 205 lbs.
  5. Heavyweight – 206 to 265 lbs.
