Biometric Authentication in Windows 10 in Place of Password
Microsoft has just launched Windows 10 for its users. There are many new features included in the new version of Windows. A one very interesting feature is the finger tips identifications in place of passwords.

They name this feature as Fast Identification Online or FIDO. FIDO is an open standard developed to tackle the lack of interoperability among strong authentication devices as well as the issues associated with creating and remembering multiple usernames and passwords.

FIDO can be described as a virtual container that supports multiple authentications and encompasses a broad range of authentication systems, which include:
• Biometrics, such as fingerprint and iris scanners
• Voice and facial recognition
• USB security tokens
• Near Field Communication (NFC)
• Trusted Platform Modules (TPM)
• Embedded Secure Elements (eSE)
• Smart Cards
• Bluetooth
Very nice. These features are very good for you data security. The passwords are not that safe for many reasons. But the finger impressions are really a unique kind of thing. So it will be a great improvement in the security field by Microsoft.
Love for all
